This is my son Geoff. He is a graduate of The University of the South (colloquially known as "Sewanee") with a B. A. degree in Russian. His real vocational interest and talents seem to be in working with children and he has worked in many camps and the like since his graduation; most recently he has been a children's ski instructor in Vermont working especially with disable kids. He has just finished all requirements for his Master's degree in education and plans to be a middle school social studies teacher. He and his wife Carol, who is a musician and music teacher, live in an old Vermont farmhouse which they are restoring. He is also one of Vermont's premier stone wall builders! He is an avid outdoorsman and loves whitewater boating and rock climbing. He is a superb musician who studied violin for many years and now specializes in classical guitar. He is an excellent cook.
